Meet The 24-25 Lassies
Majorette
Lola Verdugo
I love the community and the performance aspect of every part of the Lassies. I joined because someone told me I should and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love the Mt. Vernon Christmas parade, I look forward to it every year.

I joined the lassies to have my own sort of family, and it gave me just that. The lassies are always so accepting and they always try their best, I love our determination and the way we never make someone feel excluded. My favorite performance was definitely All Corps last year, it was my first non parade and I got to meet so many new people.

I really love how we can come together and make an amazing performance. I love playing the cadences together. I’m happy that I’m part of this beautiful Parkview tradition. My favorite performance was All-Corps 2023. I really enjoyed that performance. We all had so much fun! It was the first ever performance where we played the beat. I was so excited because it sounded so amazing! We did amazing things and I loved it!

As a freshman, seeing Majorette Donna Garoutte in the white feather bonnet inspired me to want to be a Lassie. The friendships and the fun we had are my most cherished memories. But getting to be a part of bringing back the Lassies has been even better! Being able to share this with a whole new generation and connecting with all the Lassie alumni has been even better. Once a Lassie, Always a Lassie!
Homecoming Assembly 2012 was SO special! It was the first time the Lassies had performed in 17 years, there were so very many Parkview and Lassie alumni in the audience that day. Even though they'd never seen it before, the students cheered and were so supportive of the Corps in their first-ever show. I can't explain how proud I was that day.
Assistant Director
Samantha Gardner
I love the history and lifelong sisterhood of the Corps. I am proud to be a Lassie Alumni, and I am thrilled to support Joni and the current Lassies to build what so many of us love and remember fondly. Once a Lassie, Always a Lassie lives within our hearts.
