About the Lassies:
The Parkview Lassies are an all female drum and bugle corps located in Springfield Missouri. This high stepping Parkview High tradition was established in 1956 when women were not able to participate in many extra curricular activities. Since then, the sisterhood continues to grow as each group forms bonds that remain strong even years later.
"Once a Lassie, Always a Lassie" rings true to the dedicated alumni who volunteer, march on the sides of parade routes, and introduce themselves to each new group of girls when given the chance.
Being a Lassie means so much more than putting on a kilt marching to the alums and current corps alike. Although, we do love flipping our pleats!
